You're Gonna Go Far, Kid

Funny how we didn't realize it was already the countdown. "2..1..happy new year!" We were like " huh, what?! it's the new year already?! " Pretty hilarious. Glad the "party" wasn't an actual one. Neither was I in the mood to party nor be struggling for air in any form of crowd of sweaty people. Just wanted to kick back with some drinks and hey! what do ya know? Rolls of laughter came along after that.

So with the drinks, games, laughter, truth&dares, drive-thru and breakfast, I enjoyed my non-party gathering. Funny how last year's countdown and this year was spent coincidentally with some of the same people. Everybody likes to talk about their new year's resolutions and how they are going to stick to it this time around. Who knows whether I could possibly stick to mine? I know for sure that I want to, and I won't fall for an temptations to not stick to it.

So with that, have a happy 2009.
