Last night in my dream, you were different. Nobody changed you neither did anybody forced you to be different. You mysteriously surprised everybody, especially me. Everything felt so real even the simplest touch came alive. Just like in reality, we've stopped all contact between each other. However in that dymensional moment you were approaching me with the sweetest smile I had ever seen on your face. You had this confidence beaming out of you that nothing could harm you, or have tore you apart. You came to me and immediately reached out both your hands and pulled me into your arms without saying a word. Helpless and overwhelmed by confusion of what just happened, you calmed me down and never did let me go. You continued swaying me and filling me up with your warmth and giggles. You were so happy. People we knew passed us by, stared and pointed at you in astonishment as you would never be caught in your life for doing something like that. Public display of affection is something you will never possess. But in that intense moment for you and I, you weren't afraid. You still weren't perfect, but that was still the most beautiful part of it all. You couldn't care less of what people would think or say about you, while just being with me out in the open. The last thing you gave me before I woke up was that a kiss on my forehead. A beautiful illustration of you, my mind have painted in my dreams. Something you'll never be, you like to say. Because you're just too scared to try. |
But baby, where they knock you down and out
Is where you oughta stay |
